Core Essentials for Counseling & Wellness provides structured, interdisciplinary consultation services for families navigating school-based evaluations, IEPs, and 504 plans. Consultation is best suited for families seeking clarity, strategy, and collaborative engagement within the educational system
Many parents receive extensive documentation from schools and are unsure how to interpret eligibility determinations, testing results, or recommended services. Our consultation model is designed to bring clarity, structure, and informed perspective to that process.
Consultation may involve collaboration between:
A Clinical Psychologist
A School Psychologist with over 20 years of experience
A North Carolina Licensed Special Education Teacher with over 35 years of experience
Review is tailored to the needs and complexity of each case.
To ensure thoughtful, high-quality review and adequate preparation time, educational consultation services are limited to three new cases per month.
This structure allows for careful interdisciplinary collaboration and meaningful engagement with each family.
